Our GoalWe hope to provide entertainment and engaging storytelling with a focus on our stories exploring gender, sex and expression. Sometimes these themes will take a larger role in our games than others but by the nature of all of our group members being trans these themes will inherently always make their way into our characters and worlds. The comfort of fellow queer people comes before all else in our group, and that is something that we will stand on and strive for throughout or campaigns.

Our Approach to TTRPG with characters that do not share our race or identitiesWe are a group of players that have experience with marginalization through our various queer identities however we know that does not mean we will ever fully understand the marginalized experiences of groups that we are not apart of. We as a team however make a commitment to researching when we include identities or experiences that are different from our own. Three of our members are American and one is Canadian and this will inevitably have impact on our group's cultural experiences and outlooks. No decision made about the characters we play or include in our games goes without discussion. Despite us doing research and thinking carefully about how we do things we may have missteps but we are committed to correcting them if they are brought to our attention. No group is a monolith however, and we are very aware of that as queer neurodivergent folks ourselves. So inevitably we may make decisions that not everyone is happy with. Know that our main priority is always finding the path that does the most good and causes the least harm. And, of course, to make sure our characters and stories are fun and entertaining. Why don't we just play white characters? That is something we had a lot of discussions about. In fiction and media there is already so many white cis-het characters. Race is a marginalization we have never experienced, so we intend to not try and tell cultural or heritage stories that should be told buy someone of that group. When you are telling fictional stories, there are many settings and instances where the race of a character has no impact on the story, so in those cases why add to the already very large pool of white character when we don't have to? That to us was how we made our decisions about the kinds of characters we would play. This is a decision that we did not think about lightly. We believe that this approach is one that will be overall positive.
